Is that all you ever want to do, modeling?
I've heard that a lot.
Modeling, for some reason, is dismissed as a "junior skill."
I struggled with it for a long time too.
Everyone above me in PE wasn't doing modeling anymore.
Was I doomed to be a Senior Associate forever?

As time goes on I've realized something...
Modeling is incorrectly labeled as "junior" because it often accompanies business inexperience.
But, when you combine it WITH experience it can be very powerful.
Knowing the numbers with the ability to take action on strategy?
That's good stuff.
So don't let anyone box you into a corner and tell you "modeling is for Analysts."
You are building a lifelong skill.
Own it.
